The work that I do is disguised under the label of sexuality, but it is actually about bringing the feminine, intuitive side back into our lifelong pursuit of pleasure and sensuality, both personally and in relation with others. While the 1960s sexual revolution freed up ideas about sex, in many ways the deep connection between love and sex was lost. There is another revolution going on at the moment, which I feel proud to be part of, where people are searching for a deeper connection between their personal happiness and their sexual fulfillment. People no longer want to feel the pain of emotional disconnectedness.
Sexual abuse and trauma are now acknowledged as deeply scaring, but there are also other issues people have to heal: a difficulty in feeling at ease in their body, with anorexia, bulimia common amongst both genders, age groups and socio-economic backgrounds. Other issues such as an inability for individuals to have the relationships they want, with two out of three committed relationships ending; unresolved sexual problems manifesting in women having difficulty with orgasm, men with impotency and both sexes having great problems creating intimacy in their emotional and sexual lives. We live in an era when people want to heal themselves and are prepared to commit to do so. It does not matter if you are with someone for five minutes, one day or an entire lifetime, you will not be sexually fulfilled unless you have first developed a love of yourself, which you can then take into your relating to another. My journey, like everyone else’s, has been about my pursuit of happiness and the work I do comes from this place. I want to share these experiences with you. So welcome to my blog and I am interested in your experiences, views and the opinions.
